The Academic High Altitude Conference (AHAC) is an annual conference that is run in coordination with the Stratospheric Ballooning Association, Iowa State University and the Iowa Space Grant Consortium. The conference has a focus in high altitude balloons used for STEM education, research, and technology development. The conference is held each year in June at Iowa State University.
AHAC 2022 will be held at Iowa State University September 23 and 24, 2022. Please save the date and we will be announcing call for papers and other important information soon.Read More
The 2020 AHAC conference was held virtually due to COVID. Because of that, we relaxed our no paper, no podium policy and allowed people to present without a paper. Some entries will only have abstracts and presentation files and others may have a full paper associated with them.
