Pleistocene Gastropoda of a Lake Deposit, Rimouski County, Quebec, Canada

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to determine the paleoecology of the Lake No. 2 deposit, Rimouski County, Quebec, Canada (index map, Fig. 1). Reconstruction is based on quantitative and qualitative study of the gastropods from a stratigraphic section of the deposit. Quantitative changes in the species are of particular interest because they reflect possible changes in environment or lithology.
