The Midwestern Inquirer
- Bruce H. Bruemmer
Abstract
The Midwestern Inquirer was a free exchange of information and views on archival techniques and practices. It provided an opportunity for archivists to find out how their colleagues had approached a technical or policy issue, and was driven by the active participation of its readers. Each issue posed a new inquiry, invited readers’ responses, and summarized the comments in a subsequent issue. Its methods were unscientific but what else is new? This is the last inquiry.
