Abstract
Before you read this, the program for the Fall meeting in Topeka and Lawrence should have reached you. Because the meeting is being held jointly with the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists (SRMA), sessions will feature many presenters new to MAC audiences; this, and the chance to visit the brand new Kansas State Historical Society’s Center for Historical Research, hold promise for a particularly energetic and exciting meeting. It is also possible that the new Archivist of the U.S., John Carlin, will accept the joint MAC and SRMA invitation for him to meet our members in his home state. Westward, ho!
