MAC Minority Scholarship Evolves Donations Sought for Second Award

Abstract
Elsewhere in this newsletter you will read about the second recipient of MAC’s minority scholarship. This program was initiated with PIF money and, as specified by the PIF guidelines, such funding is only possible for two years. Though the amount of the scholarship is fairly small, those of us who can remember back to graduate school will readily attest that $500 can make a big difference in a student’s bottom line. Applications were up this year, and feedback we have received from across MAC and the nation has been extremely positive.
