25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION PLANS

Abstract

Some fun ideas are under consideration for MAC’s Spring, 1997 meeting: a celebratory meal at the beloved Berghoff Restaurant possibly including beverages with MAC’s own souvenir label; a commemorative giveaway—which at this preliminary state of planning is a combination paperweight coaster that can also serve as a beer stein and computer mouse pad; a poster; and a scrapbook of memories and photographs. (A more scholarly history is also planned for distribution at a later date.) The celebration will continue in some fashion at the Fall 1997 meeting in St. Louis.
