Abstract
MAC held its “Disaster Planning Distilled: Practical Training Served Neat” Fall Symposium at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky, on November 3–4, 2023. The Program Committee, consisting of MAC members and cochairs Danielle Spalenka, digital preservation librarian at Indiana University, and Rusty Heckaman, research room supervisor at the Kentucky Department for Library and Archives, hosted 33 people for the full-day event on Friday and a half day on Saturday. The event featured an amazing lineup of national and local experts and disaster responders who shared information about, experiences of, and lessons learned from natural disaster response and recovery.
