Abstract
I have always been drawn to history. I dressed as Laura Ingalls for Halloween, read every book about Elizabeth Blackwell I could find, and wanted to know about the world my American Girl doll lived in. This led me to study history at Drake University, with a particular focus on women’s perspectives.
