The Culture Keepers Collective: A Network for Native Nation Cultural Workers
- Erin F. H. Hughes
Abstract
The Culture Keepers Collective is an alliance of archivists, curators, historic preservationists, language specialists, tribal cultural workers, and allies dedicated to serving Wisconsin Native Nations. With a commitment to preserving and ethically sharing Indigenous heritage, the collective advocates for Indigenous data sovereignty, ensuring communities retain authority over their materials, control access, and shape representation.
