As we enter a new calendar year, the situation for archivists and other cultural heritage workers continues to feel perilous as workforces are still being reduced, financial support remains in jeopardy, politicians propose and pass legislation that directly impacts our work as well as how we are allowed to talk about our work and the events of history, and more. MAC leaders continue to be aware of these issues and are here to support members through community, professional development, and the advocacy we take on issues of importance to the profession, our association, and the communities we serve.
