Bringing Resources Together: MARC, Dublin Core, and EAD

Abstract
In the last year, it has been surprising to see emerging support for EAD in bibliographic utilities. As a metadata librarian, I use a variety of metadata schemes and have been pleasantly surprised to see EAD, MARC, and Dublin Core mingling together in different tools. This column discusses some of the newer tools that are worth reviewing if you need to implement EAD support alongside other metadata schemes.
