Two Motley Scholarships Awarded

Abstract
The 2009 recipients of the Archie Motley Memorial Scholarship for Minority Students are Janet Ceja and Krystal Appiah. Ceja earned her B.A. in film studies from the University of California-Santa Barbara and her M.A. in film and media preservation from the University of Rochester. She is currently a second-year Ph.D. student in library and information sciences with an archival specialization at the University of Pittsburgh. Appiah earned her B.A. in English and American literature from Brown University. She will receive her M.L.I.S. in archival studies from the University of California-Los Angeles in June 2009. Appiah will continue her studies in the fall of 2009 toward an M.A. in public humanities at Brown University.
