Abstract

Many cultural institutions have been seeking ways in which to make their digital collections more interactive for users and create a Web experience for their communities. There are a number of free and open source tools available to help cultural institutions interact with the communities they serve on the Web. If you are planning on overhauling your Web presence anytime soon, here are a few options to look at for inspiration.
