Abstract
I am writing this letter a few weeks after our very successful annual meeting in Louisville—gracious hosts, a beautiful venue, engaging activities, and a top-notch conference program. On the MAC calendar, each annual meeting concludes one year and begins another. As such, it is always a time of leadership transitions as we say goodbye and thanks to many good folks and give a welcoming hello to others. Nearly one-fifth of MAC's volunteer leadership changes hands at this time each year, and I just want to extend a heartfelt "thank you!" to the many who left service-officers, elected and ex officio Council members, committee chairs and members—and to the many others who stepped up to take their places.
