Abstract
The Smithsonian Institution Archives (SIA) and the Rockefeller Archive Center (RAC) have been collaborating on a three-year project to develop, test, and share the technology to preserve digital documents. Now in its final year, the Collaborative Electronic Records Project (CERP) has focused heavily on the complex, long-term digital challenges of E-mail messages and attachments.
