Catholic Library Association (CLA) Holds Workshop

Abstract
The CLA successfully completed its first Introductory Archives Workshop for Religious Communities at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Snows in Belleville, Illinois. The July workshop provided novices as well as seasoned archivists from 32 religious communities with an introduction to archival theory and practice. The workshop is one phase of the CLA's commitment to foster the preservation and protection of U.S. Catholic materials.
