Abstract

The Michigan Oral History Database is a nonprofit program that gives institutions a centralized method of tracking and accessing bibliographic data on oral history. Supported by Wayne State University's Walter P. Reuther Library and the Michigan Oral History Association, the database is available through an on-line portal with collaboratively contributed content. The program gives institutions with limited resources a way to promote oral history collections by using an open source application called CWIS by Scout Portal Toolkit.
