Documentary Resources for African-American History on the World Wide Web

Abstract
Many archives are beginning to reveal and promote the materials relating to African-American history that are housed in their respective facilities. In the hopes of enhancing access, dozens of institutions are digitizing such materials. This article reviews several existing Web sites and digitization projects and lists noteworthy digitization projects that are forthcoming.
