ARCHIVISTS INVADE LINCOLN! Nebraska Capitol Survives

Abstract
Lincoln, Nebraska, played host to this past October’s joint meeting of MAC and her sister to the west, the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists. While this meeting’s plans were still on the drawing board, many scoffed: who, after all, would want to trek all that way to MAC’s Prairie Outback?! But over 250 of you did, and by all accounts, the meeting was a rousing success! The Program and Local Arrangements Committees worked hard to provide a rollicking program of sessions, tours, workshops, and special events designed to enlighten and entertain—and to give you a flavor of the Great Plains.
