Abstract
At the risk of appearing vain, the Archives of Illinois Institute of Technology is taking this opportunity to put itself in the “Institutional Spotlight”—again! That’s right. If you refer to your April 1980 issue of MAC Newsletter, you’ll find us there. Five paragraphs on the life and times of the IIT Archives as seen through the eyes of the (then) archivist, William T. Covington. My thanks to “WT” for heading us down the path of acid-free folders and collection inventories so that 20 years later I can report to you, my colleagues, on the past, the progress, and the promise of this rare and special university archives.
