Issues for Archivists: Learning About Rare Books

Abstract
One of the challenges continually facing all archivists is dealing with a variety of formats. Rare books are often the responsibility of the archivist on site, and the challenges they provide are many. How should an archivist learn about rare books? The purpose of this article is to detail major secondary resources, educational workshops, and Web sites with relevant information about rare books for those with rare-book responsibilities.
