Our Man in New Zealand on Copyright
Abstract
From time to time I have to surface from the Deep South of the South Pacific to let all the MAC's know that I have not fallen off the face of the earth. (Never believe all those fables about the world being flat.) What prompted me to rise out of my doldrums was an article on a recent test case over the copyright law. I was very interested since there was another test case in Australia a few months ago with the opposite results. I have not been able to complete documentation but I am enclosing a notice from a News and Notes column (National Library of NZ) and a copy of an article from the Australian Library Journal written before the final outcome of the case.
