Abstract
This is a very difficult letter for me to write. I’ve been thinking about it for quite awhile and have started it several times. I know that there are probably a number of our members who were personally touched by the events of September 11. To each of you I want to extend both the organization’s and my personal condolences. Please know that my thoughts and those of many other MAC members have been with you often since the attacks and will continue to be in the days to come.
