Abstract

This issue of the “Archives & Archivists Listserv” column deals mostly with digital issues. The Listserv contained some fascinating discussions about preserving Web sites and converting sound to digital format. These are certainly issues we as a profession must address. I find it very helpful to learn about what my colleagues at other institutions are doing—I was certainly inspired by some of the archivists out there archiving their Web sites and converting their tapes to CDs. Of course, then they have to store the CDs and convert them as technology is updated. Check the archives of the Archives Listserv at if you wish to see the discussion about these and other topics.
