MAC President's Award Presented to Clarke Chambers
- Midwest Archives Conference (Midwest Archives Conference)
Abstract
Professor Clarke Chambers retired in December 1990, after 39 years as a member of the history faculty at the University of Minnesota. He has been recognized for his excellence in teaching, research and writing, and service to the university community. But it is fair to say that his most lasting contribution will be his long and effective commitment to preservation and accessibility of historically valuable documents and public appreciation of archival activity, particularly in the field of social welfare history.
