Abstract

I just received the totals on the spring meeting: 301 paid registrations and 331 total attendees (including non-registered speakers and vendors)! And what a meeting they attended—the sessions, the hotel, the workshops, the tours, the reception (what a reception!)—all were absolutely wonderful. Both committees—Program and Local Arrangements—deserve a huge thanks from the membership: they produced a nearly flawless meeting. The plenary session alone, with Dr. Stanley Kutler’s impressions of former President Richard Nixon and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, was worth the price of admission. So please join me in extending a “thank you” to these hardworking colleagues.
