INSTITUTIONAL SPOTLIGHT

Abstract
On December 17, 2003, people from Dayton, Ohio; Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; and other cities around the world celebrated the centennial anniversary of powered flight. The staff members of Special Collections and Archives at Wright State University (WSU) had been anticipating this date for many years. We all expected that the year leading up to the anniversary would be busy, but I don’t think anyone could have predicted what unfolded. There were so many events, visitors, research requests, and photograph orders that it is hard to believe we were able to keep pace and assist so many aviation enthusiasts throughout the world.
