Electronic Currents
- Charlie Arp
Abstract
Laboratory notebooks are the foundation of science. Since Leonardo da Vinci created his research notebooks over 500 years ago, scientists and researchers have used lab books to record their ideas and experiments so others could duplicate their work and build on it for future research. Today, lab books document legal and intellectual property rights in addition to documenting research, but they are essentially the same record that da Vinci used: bound paper volumes in which experiments and ideas are written in ink.
