Publications Program for MAC?

Abstract
The last few years have seen the emergence of several state and regional arc hival organizations. These groups ha ve much in common and reflect the increased growth and interest in the archival profession. The regional groups have sprung up at least in part because some people feel that the national professional organization, The Society of American Archivists, is not fulfilling its proper role. The regional groups have succeeded in providing an atmosphere in which people at all levels of expertise and advancement in the profession can come together to discuss topics of conman interest. A major role of the regional groups has been to provide a forum for discussion and the exchange of information.
