Preservation Education Partnership for the New Century

Abstract

Earlier this year the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) announced it had received a three-year (2005-2008) Institute of Museums and Library Services (IMLS) grant, entitled "Preservation Education for Twenty-first Century Librarians." NEDCC is partnering with Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS), and other Regional Alliance for Preservation (RAP) centers, including the Amigos Imaging and Preservation Service, the Southeastern Library Network (SOLINET), the Center for Conservation of Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), and OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc.
