A Big Thank You!

Abstract
One of life's joys is pleasant surprises, and such a moment happened to me in early May, when Deborah Dandridge, chair of the Archie Motley Memorial Minority Student Scholarship Committee, called to inform me that I was one of the two recipients of the scholarship. I had sent in the application packet not knowing what my chances would be, and as I write this, I still feel fortunate to have been chosen.
