Abstract
Two years ago I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, and met a local archivist who shared my interest in education and literacy. Our frequent conversations usually revolved around the possibilities for media literacy facilitated through the archives. During one of these discussions, my friend introduced me to the Midwest Archives Conference. He brought me a stack of newsletters and began a regular ritual of sharing his other MAC literature and mailings.
