TY - JOUR AB - The matching of military occupations to instructional programs in industrial technology was investigated. The matching process was facilitated with the aid of specialized computer files known as “Crosswalks,” which are maintained by the National Crosswalk Service Center. The results indicated that selected military occupations can be matched with selected instructional programs in industrial technology and that selected industrial technology programs can be matched with selected military occupations. The findings suggest that instructional programs in industrial technology can help credential newly-separated service members and thus help mitigate the higher than normal initial unemployment rate for newly-separated service members.
