Indigenous Open Access: From Coercion to Kinship
Abstract
In this reflective article, Andrews shares their perspective as an Indigenous librarian who has recently transitioned into a role advocating for open education and open access frameworks. They consider some of the nuances between open and Indigenous methods of knowledge sharing and management, how they could coexist, and their accountabilities as an Indigenous open education librarian.
