TRIBE: Translating Tribal Tattooing into Textiles
Abstract
TRIBE was inspired by the geometric shapes and bold contrast of the tattoos of Oceanic tribes, such as the Yap and Mogmog, as recorded by tattoo anthropologist, Lars Krutak.
