The Chinese phoenix

Abstract

The purposes of the design were to 1) combine Eastern culture into apparel design, and 2) demonstrate an innovative way to use 100% cotton fabric. The inspiration was a supernatural bird, the Chinese phoenix, which is a symbol of purity.
