Abstract

This study examines the governance of sustainability in luxury fashion brands, focusing on transparency and risk management, using a text-mining approach. Data from Google News (2022–2024) were analyzed via Textom to identify key trends and relationships among governance-related ESG topics. Frequency and CONCOR analyses revealed four thematic clusters: Managing High-End Markets, Compliance, Advancements in ESG Practices, and AI and Accountability in Emerging Trends. Findings indicate that accountable management and regulatory compliance are central to sustainable governance, while ESG integration continues to expand across environmental, social, and governance dimensions. he study highlights challenges luxury brands face in balancing exclusivity with ESG obligations, particularly in markets like China and within second-hand and grey markets. Results suggest that, while luxury brands increasingly disclose ESG efforts, governance-specific information remains limited, indicating the need for further research on risk management strategies, brand reputation protection, and adapting to market shifts.
