Abstract

This Special Topic Session included the panelists’ presentation of the new TAPAC Graduate Master’s Degree Accreditation option.  This session provided ITAA members, both faculty and graduate students, with information about plans for TAPAC accreditation for graduate programs along with general discussion of textiles and apparel graduate program issues, trends, and opportunities, both now and in the future.  Sharing of approaches taken to strengthen graduate programs is in the best interests of the discipline.  Details about TAPAC and the accreditation process in general were shared with session participants.
