Clothing Design for Conjoined Twins
Abstract
In October of 2011 I was contacted by a care coordinator at the VCU Medical Center to assist in the care of conjoined three-year-old twins Maria Terese and Terese Maria Sanati. As with most great opportunities, time was of the essence. The World Pediatric Organization had flown Maria Terese and Terese Maria to Richmond, VA from their home in the Dominican Republic along with their mother Lisandra Sanati.
