Abstract

VR technology allows companies to host virtual showrooms and fashion events, reaching global audiences without physical gatherings. To foster creativity and strategy in retail, it's crucial to incorporate VR into education. Therefore, the purpose of our teaching strategy was to create a learning module designed to introduce an innovative VR approach that integrates buying and promotion through the creation of 3D VR product displays and promotional content. Students started by learning VR basics and then applied this knowledge to create VR content on industry topics. Based on our findings, we recommend that fashion retail programs continue offering practical experiences with technologies like 3D/virtual reality.
