Abstract

Vector patterns are widely used in the textile industry due to their scalability and ease of editing, making them ideal for printing production. Despite the widespread use of computer-aided design (CAD) software in the textile industry, developing new vector-based textile patterns from scratch is often time-consuming and tedious. This has led to a need for more efficient and effective approaches to pattern generation. This paper proposes an intelligent system for generating vector-based textile patterns that embeds design rules, covering stripe, check, and motif patterns. Experiments with implementation show that the system is capable of supporting design work and that the design outputs satisfy basic human aesthetic standards.
