Abstract

This study utilizes Structural Topic Modeling (STM) to analyze 5,425 online reviews of Korean resale platforms, focusing on topics, sentiment, temporal trends, and topic correlations. Identified topics include "Inspection System," "Automatic Login Issues," and "Seller’s Opinions about Penalty." Positive sentiments center around trust in product authenticity, while negative sentiments are associated with login problems and seller penalties. Time series analysis reveals decreasing concerns about membership and login but increasing trends in inspection systems and transaction fees. Topic correlations form three clusters: platform development/UX/UI, platform management policies, and raffle entries/suggestions for improvement. Implications involve addressing diverse user needs and ensuring quality control for global resale platforms and fashion brands entering the Korean market.
