Abstract

The study examined factors influencing students’ adoption intention of 3D virtual prototyping technology and explored their holistic views on its application during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the SEM results, both functional and experiential values (perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment) significantly influenced students’ adoption intention of 3D virtual prototyping technology. The Covid-19 pandemic caused students to perceive 3D virtual prototyping technology as an alternative to present garments while conforming to remote working protocols. Moreover, they considered 3D virtual prototyping technology as a facilitator to make them suitable job applications in the digital transformation era.
