Abstract
A lecture on the techniques and characteristics of Madeline Vionnet's creations has sparked the curiosity and courage to drape with a manipulative style of the bias grain. This unusual evening gown is composed of two layers of metallic-like chiffon fabrics, a dull turquoise/silver outer layer and silver/gray as the under layer that create an iridescent effect with the movement of the body.
