Abstract

Intertwining Inspiration is named for its combination of inspirations that evolved into this jacket and skirt. The jacket of dark blue velveteen, lined in royal purple silk, was inspired by Renaissance jackets that were fitted in the upper body with a peplum attached from the waist. It has Asian-inspired geometric insets at the side seams that provide some of the fitting. The sleeves feature a cutout with a gold braid laced detail.
