Phoenix Rising

Abstract
Ancient Egyptian mythology provides inspiration for "Phoenix Rising." The mythological Phoenix is interpreted into the design by incorporating texture, beading, and color. The flight of the Phoenix is stylized by flowing silk fabrics. The colors selected for "Phoenix Rising" represent the rebirth of the mythological bird, rising from the ashes.
