Abstract

Assistant Professor is the second in a series of exploratory tapestry pieces aimed at creating a visual vocabulary with the "Ladder Guy" as the primary character. The figure resembles a headless human form, a dancing carpet, a ladder with hands, and has ultimately become both a specific and universal representation of self.
