TY - CONF AB - Military and security personnel are placed in threatening positions on a daily basis as a part of their job to protect our country. The kinds of threats have increased with new developments in chemical and biological warfare and with increased instability across the world. There has been significant, ongoing concern with providing as much physical protection as possible to military personnel. Research indicates that military personnel are concerned with comfort as well as safety. These factors must work together to provide optimum protection in battle. Designing and developing a protective all-purpose uniform is a complex endeavor. The overall objective is to provide fire, chemical, water, and bullet protection.
