Denim Lace
Abstract
This work explores the intersections of digital technologies with traditional methods of making garments. Incorporating digital technology, I can push beyond the boundaries of what my manual skills alone can do, and by using both traditional and innovative methods I can develop processes and methods specific to my work. Here, denim is transformed through both patternwork and the laser cutter in a harmonious process.
