Building Programs with an Equity Lens: TRIO Academic Coaching Program

Abstract
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) serves 250 first-generation, income-eligible students and/or students with a documented disability at Iowa State University. During this session, attendees will learn how TRIO’s new Academic Coaching Program has evolved using an equity lens to support the success of all participants. The purpose of this session is to encourage attendees to adopt an equity lens to better support students in their functional areas.
